Village House

The Village House Program is a community-based prevention program where neighborhood residents volunteer their homes to provide services to children who live in their immediate neighborhood. Resident volunteers are background screened and trained to provide services to youth. The program is currently in operation throughout Orange and Osceola Counties. Youth participating in the program receive life skills training, homework assistance, field trips and community service experiences to help develop critical life skills while building resiliency. The Village House program allows youth to have an option; a place to go where positive adult role models provide guidance and encouragement so youth will continue on a path to become valuable, contributing members of society.
