Nueva Vida (New Life)

The Nueva Vida Program provides a comprehensive array of treatment services for the culturally and ethnically diverse substance abusing Hispanic/Latino population residing within the City of Orlando. The project provides access to a continuum of treatment services that includes detoxification, short-term residential treatment, and case management, with a focus on the utilization of community resources. The clients also receive screening, testing and counseling for high risk behaviors related to HIV, Hepatitis, TB and other infectious diseases. The service delivery of the program is unique as it combines the core beliefs of familia (family), confianza (trust) and respeto (respect) of the Hispanic/Latino culture with treatment.  Services are provided in Spanish and utilizing Spanish materials.

El programa de Nueva Vida ofrece una serie de tratamientos comprensivos para las  personas de diversas culturas y etnicos a las subtancias abusivas en la comunidad  Hispana/Latina en la ciudad de Orlando. El proyecto ofrese acceso a una serie de tratamientos continuos lo cual incluye detoxificacion, tratamiento corto residencial, y servicios de gestion de casos clinicos, enfocando en los recursos y utizacion que existen en la comunidad. Los clientes tambien reciben una evaluacion, examenes y consegeria hacia comportamientos de alto riesgo que puedan contribuir al HIV, Hepatitis, TB  (tuberculosis) y otras enfermedades infecciosas. El envio del programa es unico porque combina las creencias en gran capacidad  de la familia, y respeto de la comunidad Hispana/Latina con  tratamiento. Los servicios se proveen en espanol y se utilizaran materiales en espanol.
