» Residential Programs

Residential Programs provide intensive, structured treatment to chemically dependent male and female adults. By being in a safe, drug-free environment residents have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to live a substance free lifestyle. Therapeutic services provided include individual, group, and family and/or significant other. Relapse prevention and life skills training are emphasized.

There are also self-pay beds available and some insurance is accepted. The daily cost is determined by a sliding fee scale based on income. Credit cards are accepted and payment plans can be arranged.


The Women’s Residential Program (PPWI) offers comprehensive and intensive residential treatment for pregnant and postpartum women in a safe, structured and smoke free environment. The state of the arts services are gender specific with cultural and linguistic competent staff. Residential Child care services are offered. The therapeutic child care services also include: identification and referrals for prenatal substance exposed children. The program utilizes the Empowerment model, recognized as a best practice treatment model, addresses the need for women with dual diagnosis history. The services include: individual, group and family counseling, case management, parenting education, life skills, trauma services, vocational/educational services, mental health and medical assessment/treatment and referrals.

The Nueva Vida Project is designed to provide a comprehensive array of appropriate treatment services for the culturally and ethnically diverse substance abusing population recently released from jail/prison, at risk or positive with HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis infection. The project provides access to a continuum of treatment services that includes detoxification, long term residential and outpatient treatment, Methadone services, aftercare and service linkages necessary to meet the participants’ individual needs. They also receive screening, testing and counseling for high risk behaviors related to HIV, Hepatitis, TB and other infectious diseases. The uniqueness of these services is that they revolve around the core cultural beliefs of familia (family), confianza (trust) and respeto (respect) held common throughout the Hispanic/Latino population.

The Men’s Residential Recovery Program (MRRP) offers short-term intensive residential therapy for adult males with alcohol or drug dependency and co-occurring mental health disorders. Co-occurring disorders typically include: depression, anxiety, or more severe problems such as bi-polar disorder or schizophrenia. MRRP offers a 24 hour structured environment in a home-like setting. The program usually lasts about six weeks and is tailored to the individual needs of each client. Services include psychiatric care, medication management, individual, family & group counseling, case management, self-help groups, relapse prevention education, crisis management, basic health care, HIV education, and vocational skills training.

The William R. Just Sr. Center is a 54 Bed structured living facility conveniently located in South Central Orlando.  The program is designed to meet the specific needs of the recovering chemically dependent client.  The primary focus of the program is to assist individuals who have demonstrated various levels of impairment in their social, educational, and occupational functioning.

 

This affordable, all-inclusive program will -

 

Assist the individual with improving their daily living skills

 Increase the individual’s overall ability to effectively manage their finances

Address the individual’s needs for vocational/occupational services

Offer onsite aftercare therapeutic services as well as onsite Case Management

Provide community-based self-help support groups seven (7) days a week.
