Federal Drug Czar Visits The Center's ANCHOR Program Gil Kerlikowske, the newly appointed Director of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), and President Obama’s “Drug Czar” visited The Center’s ANCHOR program on August 12th to draw attention to the growing issue of prescription drug abuse and to learn about local efforts to address the issues of substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders and their associated affects on homelessness and criminal behavior.

On Tuesday, June 24, the Heart of Florida United Way awarded The Center For Drug-Free Living, Inc. $355,467 to support its mission of “Promoting Healthy, Responsible Lifestyles”.   These funds will be used to support six (6) separate programs operated by The Center.
